North London Derby

North London Derby is one of the most competitive derbys in Premire League. In older days, we though that Man Utd and Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal would be competitive teams in England. But, actually, NLD between Arsenal and Totenham Hotspur is the most competitive derby in London. It is too dangerous for spur fan to walk through Arsenal Fan’s ward wearing Spur shirt. Patrick Vieira, currently Crystal palace’s head coach and Arsenal legend, once said “Spur is shit” when he was asked to speak few English word while he was learning to talk English. Mesut Özil, former Arsenal midfielder answered the question of press that he would be retire from football instead of being a Spur player. Now, I think we can guess how competitive between the two clubs.

On the derby day was watching by famous Korean actor Park Seo Joon ( Spur Winger’s friend, From Drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim), Spotify owner Daniel Ek and Arsenal Legend Thierry Hinery at Emirates Stadium.

Asrenal won three consecutive games before the derby and Spur lost their best conditions since Nuno won manager of the month award. We guess Arsenal can win but we don’t except this result. Arsenal forward got only 2 goals in previous five games but, today they scored three goals within 1st half 45 minutes. There was so many positive things for Arsenal. The British Goalkeeper, Aaron Remsdale saved Spurs’ big chances and the center backs were satisfactory beyond Kolasinac and Mustafi. These defense allowed only one goals in previous 4 matches. Solid performance from Ben White and Gabriel, rhythmic up and down movements by Kirin Tierney brings Arsenal’s win. The Japanese Right back, Tomiyasu who was from Barcelona’s Academy was in best conditions and Artets proved why he chose Tomi over Emerson. The Japanese controlled Harry Kane and Son in his best conditions and got up to 8 recoveries. The midfielders, Xhaka and Thomas Pertey are also dutiful during this match and the well competed with Spurs’ midfielders. The best this of the games was link up between Öddegard, Saka and Smith Rowe. The pressured Tot’s defense with correct passes and the golden boys, Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe got one goal and one assist each other.

Captain Aubameyang scored one goal and celebrate with Thierry Henry celebration against Spur in front of him. I think it was the best playing style for Arsenal during recent years. Arsenal substitute Niles, Travers and Lokonga in last minutes, controlled the match and make sure the win. We have to watch if Artera will become a technical expert like his teacher, Pep.

On the other side, Spur lost their best position since they won first three PL matches. Dele Alli was extra man for Spur and he shouldn’t be in first line-up. Coz of him, Hojbjerg had to play more to compete Xhaka- Partey’s Mid. In second half, Skipp sub on and there were many improvement of Spur’s mid. Finally, Spur got one goal from Korean winger, Son. Of course, Spur won their first three PL games, but the lost in next three games and down to position 11 from 1in PL standing. Spurs’ forward was not satisfactory today. Their facts such shot on target, shot off target and chance created are included in the worst three PL clubs. This is absolutely not enough for a big-six team. Spurs’ forward is dead with useless Alli, Lucas Moura with under performance and Harry Kane who lost the net. If Son not be there or injured, Spur can also lose their first three matches. Spurs allowed one goal from Harry Kane’s fault and he can’t score too.

In conclusion, Spur need to change their defensive playing style. They also need to change manage. Today’s Arsenal seems to be the old Arsenal with beautiful astonishing playing style and we finally got positive vibes with Arteta. Should we trust the porcess now? 😂 Did Kane deserve a better team?
